my cousin and his wife got married on my parents' 27th anniversary, and on my cousin's late father's birthday.

27 years ago, when my parents got married, they sent the bouquet to be sent to my uncle's grave. this year, after my cousin's wedding, the bouquet was sent to my late auntie fely's grave.

it was a long walk to the grave, and so, crazy as we are, felice and i sneaked photos of us with the bouquet. blame it on our lack of exposure as flower girls? well, if you ever need flower girls, you know where to look. consider this post as our portfolio. :)

it has been a while since f has stayed in cebu for more than a day after she went home to bohol for good. so as usual, i was missing our bonding over shopping, over and food.

she went to cebu for the weekend though. and though i was sick almost half the time, and at work at most of the time, (and she was also up and out most of the time) we still managed to squeeze in dinner at 30 kitchen.

we had a sumptuous meal of temptation (carbonara), herbed chicken and dilled fish. we accidentally saw a friend that night too, who was confused if he was seeing double. because of his confusion, he didn't immediately say hi to me unless i said hi first, afraid he'd say hi to the wrong girl. LOL.

so yes, this is my sister. and no, we're not twins. :)

for their sake i hope they boiled the eggs before they painted it. i remember one easter from my childhood where my sister took one egg from the ref, took out her watercolor and painted it. once she was complete, she gave it to our grandmother who cherished the easter egg and kept it in her room. :D

until her room stank of rotten eggs. :P

it was family night. and our first time to dine at one of the outdoor restaurants facing the sea.

the place was quaint, it was situated at the back of the Dauis church. it was like coming into a marbled, antique house to dine. and then you'll be brought outside, with candles surrounding the pathway to a table under a lanterned acacia tree, overlooking the sea.

you will be serenaded with a live band as well. it was indeed one romantic place. :)

on your way out, you'll notice this nook with crafts and antiques for sale.
