i always love passing by the pathway leading to the esplanade theater. it never fails to wow you with creative what-have-yous. this one's made of balloons... an entire wall filled with balloons of all colors and sizes, with a hint of artistry!

i've been on dora the explorer mode today. i had time to kill and for a change, i wasn't in a hurry. with that, i decided to go out of the familiar and explore the mall and malls outside further.

i saw and discovered a lot of things - beauty salons, stores, fast food chains, food courts, grocery stores, pharmacies, specialty food stores. and this statue!!!

it was my first time there, ever.
so when i looked up, it was so amazing... creatively amazing!

it was family night. and our first time to dine at one of the outdoor restaurants facing the sea.

the place was quaint, it was situated at the back of the Dauis church. it was like coming into a marbled, antique house to dine. and then you'll be brought outside, with candles surrounding the pathway to a table under a lanterned acacia tree, overlooking the sea.

you will be serenaded with a live band as well. it was indeed one romantic place. :)

on your way out, you'll notice this nook with crafts and antiques for sale.

creativity comes in many forms and the possibilities are definitely endless – all it takes is a bit of ingenuity, originality, inspiration and you’ve got your masterpiece. there is nothing you can’t do even if all you have is some masking tape and carpet.

this sight surprised us all when we came into the office.

inspired by MJ’s untimely demise, three officemates have knowingly or unknowingly created a tribute of some sorts to the king of pop.

“the final bow”, i’d like to think.

among a lot of things, i suck at art class. don't let me do anything that involves a pair of scissors, crayons, easels, crayons or pencil – you’ll just disappoint yourself. the only masterpiece i can come up with are stick-figured drawings, take it or leave it. on crafts, though, i may have better shot at.

what i lack in arts though, i compensate with admiring the work of those who are gifted in this area. appreciate what you don't have and what you can't do... :D
