L&K introduced us to Marche, and since then, it's been one of our favorites too. this day, we celebrated L's birthday at where else but everybody's favorite place! :)

fridays is lunch out day. yeah, everyday we eat out but friday is special because we get to eat somewhere nicer (usually at the fastfood, lol).


here's a pic of H and I on the bus ride back to the office. by the looks of our faces, you can tell that we have already been fed. what you cannot tell from looking at us is that we're already past the 12-1PM lunch break!!!

we came across these pretty hats - hers was a fisherman's and mine was a cutie, floral-accented sunhat.


i just had to take a shot. this after all, was the closest i ever got to summer.

i have missed a lot of things while i had been away. food, friends, family, dates with J... and food again.

new year's day and the eve before my flight back. after church, J and i had a sumptuous meal at blue elephant, IT park. the food was great, the ambiance was superb, and my date? the best! (teeheehee.)

it was one rainy afternoon. and we were off to the zoo. there was lots of walking around, animals to see, and shows to catch!

october isn't exactly june or is it known as the marrying month. but this year, is probably an exception as it is now officially the merry marrying month! with three weddings i need to attend to, that october's the new june. :)

meet viola.
for how many months, i've been looking for a casual girly watch i can use everyday. i saw her, admired her, and never got to try her on because well, i wasn't really in a hurry to get her.

on my birthday, james' bag was unusually full and bulky. since he had an upcoming business trip and he was taking stuff from the office, i didn't take it as unusual.

but just before he went home, he casually opened his bag, took out his paper bag and gave me her! i was beyond speechless.
on our shared "fake birthday" apart, i was with his mom and bro doing groceries. i didn't suspect anything, his brother just pulled out chocolates from the shelf and i was telling him to open it so i'd ask for a piece (suyaon na bata, i know). he teasingly told me i should buy my own. we paid for the groceries, and they were on their way home when they handed me the chocolates, telling me it was J's specific request. wow, another speechless moment!

after all these time, just when i thought i have you all read out, you pull out thoughtful surprises in front of me when i wasn't even expecting anything. and here i am, giddier and happier than ever. it's amazing how your simple, sweet, thoughtful gestures go a long, long way. thank you :>

just a rewind from my previous post to a few days back.. ;)

it was time for a friends4keeps get together. it's been difficult to round everyone up these days, given our different schedules so it was a good thing that most of us showed up that night. (yey!)

it was a laid-back night and it was as spontaneous at it gets. i sure had a blast playing taboo and cranium that night. as usual, it was boys vs. girls. we'll get back at cranium, you guys! :D

Project 2010: 126 - photobooth mania

J was so supportive to take a photobooth photo with me that day. the weekend before that while on our way to watch a movie, we passed by Banana Book and i told him that we never really had a photo taken at a studio. :) so here we were. novices that we were, our first set was full of bloopers (i.e. not looking at the cam, not yet ready poses) so we opted to do a second set.

and here it is!!!
the first shot, we weren't really positioned yet then i noticed it was about to click so i immediately grabbed him for effect!

the second shot, clearly a proof how narcissistic i am. i was still looking at the screen looking at how i look when kablam, the camera snapped again!

the third shot, well, we got to prepare for this one. goodness, thanks.

the last? priceless. we were playing around, teasing each other with our looks. i think he was trying so hard in making his eyes big. and i was smiling at him in disbelief. and before we knew it, click!
