Project 2011: 64 - meet snow!

carrying a DLSR finally has taken it's toll on me. then comes the realization that i am too lazy to set and lug around a gigantaur. so i decided to buy a semi-pro instead. just in time for the upcoming business trip. ;)

J surprised me on the last minute by buying it for me instead. sweet! i kept on teasing him though that it's too much for a "happy august gift" and i'm still expecting a birthday gift. but just joking of course! :)

i chose white (hence the name "snow") because i find it cute and more suitable for my personality and i found the perfect matching camera strap online, which i bought first before the camera (oh well, what can i say, i am a girl!)

so tadaaaa... the camera and the strap. i like the modern vintage feel. we'll definitely make and keep memories together. :)

we came across these pretty hats - hers was a fisherman's and mine was a cutie, floral-accented sunhat.


i just had to take a shot. this after all, was the closest i ever got to summer.

i have been looking for a wallet for like forever. 

i looked high and low and still, i seem to have not found it yet.

on this night however, before meeting some friends for dinner, i decided to pass by Charles and Keith's store.

lo and behold, it was love at first sight! i knew this was it.

now the new dilemma...

i don't know about you, but i always get blisters and sores in my feet when i get a new pair of shoes. it takes at least a week for getting used to, that's why over time, i have learned to put band-aids on for a week (or more) when i have a new pair.

i was stress-testing my new footsies today, hoping they'd "expand" soon. i walked around the mall and to/from the church today, to shoe-train my feet or feet-train my shoes, whichever angle you are looking at.

come a little past lunchtime, my feet were starting to ache. my only consolation? they looked rather pretty while at it.

blame it on being a girl, but i have always loved little trinkets, shiny little things and anything that glitters!

just another "moment" at work. i was far from busy, and i can't help but admire my new shoes, (which caused me blisters the entire day if i may add).
what can i say? it's fun (though sometimes painful) being a girl!
