Project 2010: 27 - it's a girl's world
02.17.10
seeing these lippies just reminds me when i was still at a young age. i would sneak into my parents' room, go to my mom's dresser, and try putting on lipstick.
oh boy, i might have grown older, but i still am fascinated more than ever, with lippies and what have yous :)
Project 2010: 25 - surprise!
02.15.10
don't you love pleasant surprises? the type you don't expect nor wait for and it just pops out at your doorstep? mine literally arrived in my doorstep, a few days before valentine's day. like i said, i wasn't really expecting anything so imagine how happy, touched, ecstatic, giddy and giggly i felt when i got this package.
just when you thought you already know what's going to happen or not happen, or just when you though you know what someone could or not do, they surprise you.
needless to say, obviously, it made my day. my week, even. thanks, james. :D
Project 2010: 24 - a confession
02.14.10
day of hearts. our second consecutive valentines day apart. that thought was stamped on my head.
but during valentines day, i got chocolates! :> surprised? were they from a secret admirer? or a friend? who were they from? already dying to find out? :D
but truth be told, i just bought the chocolates from walmart, placed them in the ref. took them out on valentines day, gave it to myself and feigned surprise! :>
it was funny really, and the guys laughed at me for a while. but little did i know i will have a real surprise coming my way.. (to be continued)

Project 2010: 11 - an artist's palette
sunset.
a wonderful mixture of colors in the sky. dashes and hints of orange, blue and yellow. and lots of colors in between.
for that moment, the sky was one big canvas and an artist splashed colorful paint from the palette all over it.
beautiful. just beautiful.
Project 2010: 10 - signs signs and signs
Project 2010: 9 - roadtrip
Project 2010: 8 - eskimo
bummer. weekend. snow storm.
but then again, better make the most out of it.
when life throws snow, make a snowman! or a snow angel!
i honestly tried making a snow man, but i know i was going nowhere. my hands were numb from the cold and i only curled up a ball as small as those squishy stress balls. and i couldn't dare making a snow angel. there wasn't enough snow to make one - it was just around 6-8 inches. i might end up lying on the ground, with mud all over me for all i know.
and so, i did what i do best. take pictures of myself.
featuring me, as an eskimo! lol :>
Project 2010: 7 - trip downtown
"it's just nearby, just around the corner." and off we walked. took pictures in between. a few steps, then almost a block. it finally hit us, the bone-chilling cold. we were practically hugging ourselves but managed to say, "we're almost there, just a few steps". my hands, even with gloves on, were starting to get numb. still 2 blocks to go. then the two guys ahead of me, looked at each other then at me, shivered, and defeated, "let's go back".
needless to say it was ala amazing race back to the car. i never saw two guys running fast for their lives. and i never even had a peek of triangle park. :))
