ever notice how time moves like a snail while watching it’s hands or while waiting for it to pass? painstakingly, second by second, the hands of the clock moves slowly as possible. (try staring at a clock waiting for an hour to pass and see what i mean).
in contrast, don’t you notice how time sneaks up on you and moves as if in a marathon when you’re busy – either on a vacation, enjoying a shuttereye, working real hard to meet a deadline? you could’ve sworn time had been cheating on you, running seconds too fast, like a broken-down taxi meter.
time is but fleeting. so best make the most out of it. carpe diem!
